The next club meeting is next Thursday, October 15. Can the host post some meeting details? I believe it is going to be Brian or Michelle. I can do it if plans have changed.

I am hosting the brew club meeting next Thursday @ 7PM. The style should be Oktoberfest/marzen but I think stout will work as well. Imperial is preferred.

To Big T and/or the other judges - Don't forget to bring the scoring sheets from the PA competition.

Yo B, what about snacks? Any pref's since it's Octoberfest - brats, German potatoe salad (ya, es is ein bratkartoffeln), apfel streudel etc.?

Ziggy, Zaggy, Ziggy, Zaggy - Hoi, Hoi, Hoi!!!

How about a bacon explosion, but with brats!  (A bratenator?)

OK Pottsie, just for you (even though you corrected my German spelling), however, instead of a bacon explosion made w/brats, how about grilled bacon-wrapped brats!!

Okay, even coming away from Zeps after T's opening round, bacon wrapped brats sound pretty damn good!  Maybe a couple hours in the smoker....  Mmmmmm.

When in Memphis you have to go to the Rondevous to eat BBQ. World renowned place, down an alley in the dowtown area. Just ask anyone and they'll tell you how to get there.

Ate at Rendezvous when I was there last (two weeks ago). It was pretty good, but I thought Neely's was better. I am more of a wet ribs kind of guy.

Assume you know about Beale St Tap Room. Great bar, don't miss $2.50 pints on ALL taps on Tuesdays.

Won't get into the Wet vs Dry argument over ribs - I know people who got cut during such arguments - waaaay tooo much passion! I'll eat good ribs anyway that I can get them!! Just enjoy the great Q!

Thanks for the tip about the Beale Street Tap Room. I went to The Flying Saucer tonight and signed up for the UFO club. $2.75 Pint night tonight. I plan on having work pay for the Dish.
