Millstream Brewing Dinner at Zins

Post by tony b »

Got this email from Chris at Zins:

Tony,
Just sending you a note to invite you to Zins first Brewers Dinner on December 3rd at 6:00. We will be pouring Millstream's beer and Teresa Albert and possibly Millstream's brewer will be there to talk about the pairings and their products. I would also like to extend a 25% discount to anyone who identifies themselves as a member of the Beer Nuts. Amy and I should be finalizing pricing and a menu in the next couple of days. If you are interested I will send you a copy as soon as we are finished. If you know anyone else who might be interested please pass the word. We expect to fill, so I strongly recommend reservations, they can be made by calling Zins at 319-363-9467.

Cheers,
Chris Miller

Discounts...I love discounts. Unfortunately, I will be in Phx and will not be able to attend.

Not sure I would go either unless they are unleashing beers beyond the normal lineup. And will have to see what zins is all about tonight.

As Tony knows far better than I (I've only been there twice, and that was before the flood) Zins has really good food and is a cool place. Offering club members a 25% discount is very cool and I'd go in a heartbeat if I was going to still be here then. Unfortunately, I'll be on my way to Dallas that day and dining in some dive close to the hotel in Witchita, KS that evening. If I were you I'd try to make it to Zins. The club, as a whole, doesn't get this kind of deal very often and it would be nice to get at least a few people if possible.

UPDATE:

I got another email from Chris at Zins. They have cancelled this event due to lack of interest. Too bad.
