I am going to try to come. I have to BBQ a bunch of pork shoulders that night for my kid's hockey tournament, so I may be manning the smoker. I know going to canadian J's means I will likely crawl home.

In addition to the Baltic Porter turn in, if you've brewed a beer for the February Millstream Event, please bring a sample to the meeting for the members to judge and approve. Yes, I said "approve." Since these beers represent the Club, not the individual brewers, the members must approve them for turn in to Teresa for this event. The criteria is not strictly against BCP style, but more towards is it a good solid beer with no serious off flavors?

All, as I mentioned I’m planning on posting the agenda a few days before each meeting giving a chance for more of you to mull over any ideas, or add to the agenda.
We have a few big things coming up I hope to address first before Canadian J’s Imp. Stout gets everyone loopy.
1. Club comp
- Please bring your entries to the meeting, If you can’t make arrangements with bigT (me)
- Judging will tentatively take place next week at my house
- 2 bottles or one large bottle is acceptable
- We will also need at least one more judge, and steward – sign up at the meeting
- March is the PYMENT contest
2. Club Dues
- Please bring your dues for the year if you have not, check or cash payable to the brew club
- March meeting is the enforcement date, after that club events, orders, merchandise etc. will be revoked, unless something has been worked out with Potsy (treasurer)
3. Millstream Cheese and Beer event – Feb 20 at Millstream
- Please bring your entries to the meeting so we may choose the best six, or at least make sure the club agrees on the six that will be there
- Also note Millstream does not have the proper equipment for our ball lock kegs, or for some pinlock. For those of you that bring beer but don’t have dispensing equipment please post what you need so we can make arrangements sooner than later.
- Also be thinking about promotion, we benefit from a great turnout so were hoping to do flyers as well as viral marketing.
4. Homebrew National Conference - MN
- We can start a separate forum for this but want to get a general head count at the meeting for who wants to go on this trip as a club
- Registration is going on now, and we need to start deciding lodging, transportation etc., please be prepared to discuss
5. Signup for Next Meeting locations – I think Larry left me the book
- February Meeting is at the LongBranch – Franklin can you confirm, or was it March.

Also, can we get an update on the BYO mag and if that has been sent? I believe multiple people paid and paid for various number of years. I paid for a 3 year subscription. Does someone have that all written down?
Dave and I have a beer for the Millstream event but it is still conditioning and not ready to be consumed. It will probably be ready first week of Feb if all goes well.
On another note, I still have a few Club Glasses available and a few shirt patches. I will try and bring them tonight.
Glasses are $5 each
Patches are $2 each
Could also discuss whether we want to buy glasses to sell at the events we go to? Benz, Iowa festival of Beer, Waterloo event.
