Guys,

I lost my $hitty job last month. Moved back to Des Moines and I now have an offer at Caterpillar in Decatur IL.

I will be a Supplier Collaboration Engineer. This is basically a engineering liaison between purchasing, engineering and suppliers with a lot of emphasis in handling technical communications with suppliers. Its a new department at CAT. I'm excited. Two of my soon to be colleagues were in the same boat as me!! So there will be three people there who left jobs in CR to take work in Decatur. Strange coincidence!

Anyhow, it was nice meeting many of you and it was a pleasure drinking your beers.

John, sorry to hear the bad news, we no sooner gained another home brewer and lost you all ready. I hope the change in jobs is a much happier atmosphere. At least you didn’t get too settled in CR. Hopefully you will keep in touch and let us know what is shaken with the local brew club there and any other events. Lots of good stuff happens East of the Missip. I think you will enjoy the culture and all the brews!

Cheers,

Travis
