I just got this message, and thought I'd pass it along. Jeff is an all-around awesome guy, and was the instigator/brewer at the sadly-defunct Stone City brewing in Solon.

Here is the poop on the fund raiser so far;
Breathe-N-for Jason is a Non Profit Organization raising donations to help with expenses for a lung transplant for Jason Allen. Jason has Cystic Fibrosis, which is a genetic disease that affects the lungs & digestive system.
He is from Solon, IA & graduated in 2001. He is currently on the transplant list at Barns Hospital in St. Louis. After surgery Jason will have to live in St. Louis for 3 months and with his disability income can not meet his living expenses.
On Sunday August 22nd, 2010 a fund raiser will be held at the "Timber Dome Lodge" in Solon, IA. This will run from 1 - 5pm.
Joe Price a renowned Blues musician along with his wife Vicky Price will be performing live. Joe & Vicky have won the "Independent Blues Album of the Year" Joe has been inducted into the "Iowa Blues Hall of Fame" & has opened for such notables as John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, Homesick James, Homeboy Edwards, Louisiana Red, Al Green, Greg Brown & Iris Dement. www.joepriceblues.com/
There will be a silent auction, with items donated from various businesses from the Solon, Iowa City & Cedar Rapids areas. If you would like to donate an item let us know.
Tickets to the fund raiser are $20.00.
