Williams Brewing has factory seconds/dinged SS brew kettles with brass ball valve fittings for $80. Supplies are very limited. If anyone needs a new inexpensive pot this is about as cheap as I've see them for 10 gallons stainless.

You thinking about moving to 5 gallon batches? Seems like a reasonable price.

I want the option to do 5 gallon batches, especially in the winter when my basement is in the right temp for ales without needing a fridge. I have a 5 or 6 gallon glass carboy that a friend gave me.

I was planning to buy a little better pot eventually, as the one I have is a paper thin aluminum turkey pot. It's already getting beat up from 6 months of use.
