Lakefront Brewery IPA

Post by tony b »

Doing my bit to support the HyVee Drug on Center Pt and Blairs Ferry.

Picked up a 6 of Lakefront IPA. Nice beer, good balance. Very fruity hops - nose and taste. Webpage says Chinook and Cascade. Plus @ 6.9%, it's got a little something going on, too!

If this goes over, maybe HyVee'll carry some of their other beers too.

For the most part, I think Lakefront makes decent, but not spectacular, stuff. The exception is that they make the best pumpkin beer I've ever had, if you're into such things. I'll have to give the IPA a shot.
If you're in Milwaukee, they have an awesome, beer-soaked, brewery tour.

I second the Lakfront tour, pretty good time. I will have to try the IPA.

I'll have to make sure to hit Lakefront the next time I'm in Milwaukee then. I saw them listed but didn't know anything about them.

I was in Milwaukee Friday. Didn't have time to hit up anything though.
