New Beligum Brewery Beer Tasting Dinner
Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 6:30pm

Please join us for a special night of great beer and food. Brandon Parizek the local representative for New Belgium Brewery will be hosting the event. The dinner includes five of New Belgium's beers paired with five courses our chefs have created to complement each beer. Price of the dinner is $45 per person. First Course - Blue Paddle Pilsner
Housemade Charcuterie Plate

Second Course - Mothership Wit
Grilled calamari salad with smoked tomatoes, arugula, artichokes and a lemon vinaigrette

Third Course - 2 Below Winter Ale
Crispy seared duck breast with a warm quinoa salad, Sauted green beans and a fig mole

Fourth Course - Belgo IPA
Roasted Iowa Pork Tenderloin with rainbow carrot-parsnip gratin and a pomegranate glaze

Fifth Course - Trippel Belgium Style Ale
Banana bread, bacon, and milk chocolate mousse panini

Just a thought, but both could probably be done, I don't know how long the dinner is, however, we usually don't start until about 8:30 on tech meeting nights.

5 Course dinner - you'll be lucky to be over in 2 hours. Plus factor in the commute time from Ia City.
