In case any of you haven't heard yet, Jamil Zainasheff is finally going to start a brewery. They've already started some test batches and plan to have their first beers available around March. It will be local kegs only to start, but soon after they'll also go into 750ml bottles. Dave will like this: Jamil thinks their first beer will likely be some type of sour beer.
He'll be brewing on a 30 barrel system, using an alternating proprietorship with E.J. Phair Brewing, in Pittsburg, CA.
Jamil said on his Brewing Network Podcast, Can You Brew It, that he hopes to "capture the spirit of masturbation" with his creations. (That has to be one of the greatest quotes ever!) He wants people who taste his beer to experience the the excitement of discovery.
