Brian, do you know if we need to bring posts from which to hang the banner, or are there going to be tent-like booths (like at Amana)? I probably have some posts I can bring if necessary. I'll be there at noon and will be wearing either my black t-shirt or my charcoal work shirt, depending on the weather (or my work shirt over my t-shirt). Beer wise, I will bring a growler of smoked porter and a growler of pale ale.

I believe they will have tents so we should be able to hang the banner from the tent.

I'll try and be there around 11:30am to help set up. As I said earlier, I'll bring 6 22oz bottles (3 Baltic Porter & 3 Irish Draught Ale).
Wednesday at 3rd Base works for me to get our act together, what time?

I can come down a little early to help set up. I will only be able to stay a couple hours. I plan on bringing 2 gallon jugs of some dark wheat. I just tried it and it seems drinkable, though a little lite on alcohol. I will try to show up either night to make plans, let me know.

I can meet tomorrow (wed) after 7:30 or so. Larry, please call my cell as I won't have email before then.
I will be there from setup until close. Anyone want to meet at the Diner on 1st for breakfast before?
I have the banner and hanging it under control.
I also went out tonite and bought a restaurant dry erase board - figured a beer list won't work so well with so many possible combinations of what and when, so we can just run the board with 'what's on tap'. I have a stand for the board under control.
I have 2 full kegs of beer, coffee stout and kiwi wit, and am completely self contained with what I need to serve them. I have a 1/2 keg of Belgian Saison made with grapes, ginger and juniper that I might bring just for giggles...but I do love it so....my precious...can't have my presssousss.....
Anyone have a kickass PaleAle or IPA? (Amy...)
A club flier sounds great.
Had the video, never watched it, threw it out.
Wearing black shirt and pink thong...

Thanks for picking up the board Mark. Danny has a football game at 2pm, so I don't know what time I will be able to get over to Benz.

I am still out for the event. Can't come Wednesday night either. I am headed to Chicago Thursday and Friday on short notice (Yesterday afternoon). Sounds like you have it under control.
Breakfast at Diner on First...yum. I love the Heartstopper! Wish I could be there.

I will have 100 flyers printed out. I don't have much in it for events. I am just putting in the next three club meetings and to check the website for additional information. I did add Mark's name on the back for Iowa homebrewer of the year.
I have to go move playground equipment sat morning so no breakfast for me. Depending on when I get done, I will be down there after I get cleaned up. Mark, you wearing the thong on your head? I really hope so.
I have some really crappy beer I couuld bring. Peated Porter, sugar saison they don't suck but they're not very good either. Let me know what you think. Most of you have tasted both of them.
I am probably out both nights for meeting. Way to many kid activities going on this month.
Dave, did you find your VHS homebrewing tape? I can't find mine.

I have a couple of kegs, nothing to write home to mom about though (just starting up again after a long winter hibernation). I think I have 2 beers that the fermentation got stuck on "Sweet Rye" and a”sweet raspberry" wheat. I also have a little stout and don't know how much of the Texas Imperial brown I have left I will check.
Something else that would be easy to do and would make the table look a little nicer is some beer ingredients. We could display a handful of a light and dark malt, a small bottle of extract, and perhaps some hops maybe a few whole hops and some pellets. Since it doesn’t sound like we will be sporting much for beer, this may get people asking questions.
As for time, I could be there early to help set up but I have a something else going on later in the afternoon; so I would probably have to leave around 2 (but may be able to get back at about 4 for the last hour and tear down).

So gang, is there going to be a meeting tonight or not?
I might just drop by 3rd Base for dinner anyway, probably 6:30-ish.
I like Jeremy's idea of having beer ingredients. Show and tell is a good thing. To show off how easy brewing is, I could bring my first poly bucket/airlock, so folks can see it doesn't take elaborate equipment to make beer.
Can someone bring a grain sack or two for "decoration"?
Maybe some copies of Zymurgy mag? A Northern Brewers' catalogue? So folks can get an idea of prices for equipment and ingredients.

I could look and see.
I believe that I have the latest copy of the Northern Brewer catalog sitting around somewhere. As for ingredients, I have plenty of those. Just got to find some containers that the wife will let me take out of the house. We have a forum up already for what people are bringing to that (don't we). If there is I will put some stuff up there, if not will create one.

I have the midwest supplies dvd. I will bring that, a small tv, and a dvd player. I will be available the whole time, unfortunatly I have nothing ready to drink. I needed an excuse to go to 3rd base, so I'll also be there about 6:30 ish.

I just wanted to throw a great big CR Beer nuts thank you out to Quinton and the rest of the Benz staff for hosting us at the festival.
I think it worked out rather well. It gave Benz another exhibitor and gave us a little more exposure to the public. I think I can speak for all of us when I say it was a damn fine time had by all; and that each and every one of us is already looking forward to next years event.
Thank you again quinton on behalf of the Beer nuts.
