April turn in for club quarterly comp is a week away.


Turn in for 18B American Pale Ale will be at the April general meeting with judging to follow on April 30th at 7pm.
Location will more than likely be Thew or IBC as Clock House has not changed back to summer hours, and LB has an event that night.

Details on location will be finalized by the G.M.

For entries, please, please, please Do Not affix your entry form onto your bottles with tape. I about dropped a bottle in January trying to scrape it all off. I will have rubber bands available.

Name, entry category, phone number/ contact info required on all entries.

Mark your calendars, judging for American pale ale will be done Tuesday April 30th at 7 at Iowa Brewing Company.

If you have an entry and would still like to participate, you can still be a steward.

This is a fun experience if you have never joined in before.

Just a reminder that we will be judging Tuesday night at 7 at Iowa Brewing Company. Will have a total of 8 judges between 4 entries. More than likely will have another round table discussion with this many judges and this few of entries.

Also in case you missed it on the April general meeting we are tentatively planning on doing the mead judging and Fairfield sometime the weekend of June 22nd. More details will come with for that as it gets closer.

I'm going to bail out of helping judge tonight. Staying home with a sick doggie (tummy troubles) - don't want to kennel him up that long. Sounds like you have enough folks without me, so have fun and I'll just have to wait to find out who won!

MEAD MEAD MEAD

Being judging isn't until AFTER the June general meeting, Berry Mead turn in can be at the June meeting, if you bring it to the May meeting, i will still collect it but otherwise it can stayed stored as you prefer until June.

Please note on mead turn ins identify what berry(ies) are used on your entry forms. Your score depends on it
